Fabijan Komljenović (born January 16, 1968 in Zagreb ) is a former Croatian football player .

Career

society

Komljenović played at Dinamo Zagreb at the beginning of his career . Through the stations of HNK Rijeka , NK Zagreb and NK Istra Pula , he moved to Bundesliga club FC Schalke 04 on loan in the 1993/94 season . He had two short assignments in the S04. On the 32nd matchday against VfB Leipzig and on the 33rd matchday against MSV Duisburg he was substituted on by coach Jörg Berger . He then went back to his homeland and then moved to Belgium to KRC Genk and KRC Harelbeke . After stints at NK Hrvatski dragovoljac and NK Marsonia Slavonski Brod , he ended his playing career in South Korea with the Pohang Steelers .

National team

Under coach Dražan Jerković Komljenović completed his only - albeit unofficial - international match for Croatia. He scored the winning goal in a 1-0 win against Slovenia.
