Fabio Wurzer (born January 8, 1999 ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Wurzer began his career at WSG Wattens . After playing through all youth teams, he made his debut for the Wattener's second team in the Tyrolean League in September 2015 when he was brought into play for Manuel Egger on matchday eight of the 2015/16 season against SV Matrei in the 72nd minute. His father Michael Wurzer was also on the pitch in that game ; However, this was replaced by Mathias Mimm in the 20th minute .

In June 2016 the time had finally come and father and son stood together: In the 3-0 home win against SV Telfs on matchday 29, both Fabio and Michael Wurzer were in the starting line-up; Michael was replaced by Fabian Prasthofer in the 27th minute, Fabio by Philipp Ospelt in the 59th minute .

After more than 20 games for the Wattener's second team, Fabio Wurzer was in the professional squad for the first time in March 2017. He made his debut in the second division in May 2017 when he was brought into play for Martin Švejnoha on match day 32 of the 2016/17 season against Kapfenberger SV in stoppage time .

In January 2018 it was awarded to the fourth class SV Kirchbichl .

Personal

Wurzer's father Michael (* 1978) was also a soccer player until the end of his career in 2016 and was active in the second division for Wörgl and Kufstein .
