The SV Kirchbichl is an Austrian football club from the municipality of Kirchbichl in the Kufstein district in Tyrol and was founded in 1990. The Unterinntal were represented in the regional league in 1998. The fighting team currently plays (2019/2020 season) in the Tyrolean League .
history
After World War II , the general gymnastics club in Kirchbichl played in the Unterland group and finished last with zero points. In 1957 , the predecessor club of today's SV Kirchbichl rose to the Landesliga Tirol, a league in what was then the third performance class in Austria, and was penultimate in the 1957/58 season .
Three years later, the Unterländer were in the Landesliga Tirol and were relegated last. But they played again in the Landesliga Tirol in 1964/65 and stayed there until the 1974/75 season . It was not until 1981 that the sports club made the leap back into the Tyrolean regional league and was able to establish itself there by the end of the 1980s.
After the 1989/90 season, those responsible decided on August 27, 1990 to re-establish SV Kirchbichl. The club was assigned the Landesliga Ost and it finished 11th. In 1994 they celebrated the championship title in the Landesliga Ost, two years later the title in the Tyrolean League and rose to the Regionalliga West. In the regional league, the team was inferior to the other teams and promptly relegated back to the Tyrolean league. Since SV Axams in 2000 renounced promotion to the Regionalliga West, the Kirchbichler seized the opportunity to move up to the higher league. Eight points were missing to keep the league, and so they relegated back to the Tyrolean league.
In 2003 he was relegated to the Landesliga Ost. Three years later, in 2006, the club made it into the Tyrolean League, in which the Unterinntalers still play today.
