Martin Švejnoha (born November 25, 1977 in Příbram , Czechoslovakia ) is a former Czech football player .

Career

Švejnoha began his career in the youth teams of TJ Březnice, UD Příbram and Viktoria Pilsen . In autumn 1996, the defender was loaned to the then third division club 1. FC Pilsen, where he gained his first experience in the senior division. At the beginning of 1997 he returned to Viktoria Pilsen and made his first appearances in the first division .

In the first half of the 1999/00 season, Švejnoha was loaned to the then Slovak first division club VTJ Koba Senec , at the beginning of 2000 he returned to his home club, which is now in the second division , and celebrated the return to the Gambrinus League, from which the club, however, immediately had to descend again. Viktoria Pilsen managed to rise again in the 2002/03 season. From 2004 to 2006 the central defender was under contract with 1. FC Slovácko . He then spent three years with 1. FC Brno .

Since summer 2009 Švejnoha has been playing for FC Wacker Innsbruck in the second highest Austrian division.

With FC Wacker Innsbruck, Švejnoha was in the 2009/10 season two points ahead of FC Admira Wacker Mödling champion of the second-class Austrian first division and thus rose with the team in the Bundesliga.

After three years at Wacker, he moved to local rivals WSG Wattens in the third-class Regionalliga West. In the 2015/16 season he was able to become champions of the Regionalliga West with Wattens and thus rise to professional football.

After the 2016/17 season he ended his career and became assistant coach of the Tyrolean.
