History and description

The half-timbered building at Darmstädter Straße 7 was built around 1700 with architecturally valuable exposed half-timbering . The two-storey, gable-free half-timbered building has a gable roof covered with beaver tail . The protruding, undecorated beam heads of the joists can be seen above the ground floor . St. Andrew's crosses and diamonds are located in the parapet fields of the first floor and in the gable triangle . Half a Wilder Mann is located next to the corner posts . The strut arrangement in the gable field was designed as a "wild man".

Monument protection

The half-timbered building was fundamentally renovated in 1991 and 1992. For architectural and city history reasons, the building is a cultural monument .
