Fagopyrum dibotrys is a species of the genus buckwheat ( Fagopyrum ) in the family of Polygonaceae (Polygonaceae). The cultivated form Fagopyrum acutatum ( loam. ) Mansf. ex K.Hammer and is used medicinally, as animal feed and as an ornamental plant. It is common in most of China , Bhutan , Nepal , India , Myanmar and Vietnam .
