Faiz bin Khaleed (born September 15, 1980 in Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia ) is a Malaysian dentist and former astronaut aspirant .

He studied dentistry at St. John's Institution in Kuala Lumpur. Faiz Khaleed is employed as a dentist in the Malaysian Air Force and was promoted to major on October 22, 2007.

On September 9, 2006, he was selected for the Soyuz TMA-11 crew as part of the Angkasawan space program. Together with the later first Malaysian spaceman, the doctor Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor , he began his cosmonaut training in October 2006.

Faiz could still do a space flight if Malaysia decides to do another space flight.
