season 1
The first broadcast of the first season was from April 22 to June 10, 2014 on the US television channel MTV . The German-language first broadcast was broadcast by the free-TV station Nickelodeon from March 22 to May 10, 2015. Before that, the season was already broadcast from September 7 to October 26, 2014 in the original sound with German subtitles on the pay-TV station MTV shown.

Karma and Amy are invited to a party by Liam. Karma tries to get closer to Liam, but then his girlfriend intervenes while Amy is bored and wants to leave. But then Shane "out" both of them as lesbian and suddenly everyone knows them. Karma persuades Amy to leave it at this lie for the time being, as she enjoys the notoriety. Amy, who still hasn't told Karma about her feelings for her, wants to spend the weekend with Karma, but the two have to help Lauren prepare for Amy's mother Farrah's bridal shower. At the party, Amy starts an argument with Lauren because she is jealous of her mother's good relationship with Lauren. In the final scene, Liam confesses that he has feelings for karma but holds back out of consideration for Amy, whereupon Karma suggests a threesome with him and Amy. | |||||||

Karma suggests a threesome with Liam to Amy, after some hesitation she agrees, because this way she can approach Karma in other ways. When the three, visibly nervous, finally meet, Amy first kisses Karma and then Liam, whereupon Karma breaks the whole thing off. Meanwhile, Shane steps in for Lauren's dance partner, who has injured himself, and the two reach third place together, realizing that they are much more similar than expected. | |||||||

After the failed threesome, Karma wants to publicly part with Amy without either of them being the bad guy. When the news broke, the threesome also emerged, and everyone at school accused Liam of ruining their relationship. After Karma describes her as a sex addict, Amy tries to end her friendship with her, but Karma gives a moving speech in front of the school, which makes her reconciled with Amy again. Finally, Karma plans to officially break up with Amy in a few weeks and continues the secret relationship with Liam. | |||||||

At Farrah and Bruce's wedding, Karma secretly meets Liam. Amy has to give a speech saying how lucky Farrah can be to marry her best friend. Karma realizes that this is an allusion to her and then confesses that she loves Amy, but only as a friend. In the meantime, Liam learns from Shane that Karma only pretends to be a lesbian and then breaks up with Karma. Amy and Liam, who both feel betrayed by karma, get drunk and end up in bed together. |
