The Falcon Stadium is unique because of its unbalanced shape with two large upper tiers on the west side and one large and seven other small upper tiers on the east side. There is a total of 46,692 spectators in the stadium. Before the construction of the Falcon Stadium, the Air Force Falcons played in several stadiums in Colorado, mainly on the grounds of the University of Denver .
A permanent floodlight system in 2002 and a video - display board installed of 2004. For the first 44 years, the pitch consisted of natural grass until it was replaced with artificial turf in 2006 for $ 750,000 .
Others
In 1991, midshipmen from the rival United States Naval Academy played a trick on the Air Force Falcons. They changed the “AIR FORCE” logo on the main stand so that it became “AIR FARCE”. Before the game in 2007 the prank was repeated, this time the lettering was changed to "CHAIR FORCE".
