Falko Maiwald

Falko Maiwald (born July 13, 1976 in Dresden ) is a German lawyer and radio journalist .

Falko Maiwald studied music at the Dresden Music Academy "Carl Maria von Weber" and then law at the TU Dresden . Already as a teenager he made his first appearances as a speaker for radio and TV. He has been with Radio Dresden since 1994 . From 1995 to 1999 Maiwald worked for the MDR radio wave MDR Life . In 1999 he returned as a presenter to the Sachsen Funkpaket , which includes Radio Dresden, Radio Leipzig and Radio Chemnitz , among others . Maiwald became famous for his morning show Falko and the Morning Girls (01/2000 - 05/2002). Since then he has moderated the lunchtime show Falko at work in the Sachsen Funkpaket. In the meantime he was in Falko & Co. - Saxony's new morning show (08/2014 - 05/2015) on Hitradio RTL .

Maiwald was honored for his radio work by the Saxon State Institute for Private Broadcasting and New Media .

Maiwald also appeared as a singer after studying music. He took his first musical steps in early childhood as a singer in the Dresden Boys Choir . There he sang as a boy soloist and received his first awards, including at an international singing competition. While still studying music, Falko Maiwald made his debut in 1998 at the Dresden Music Festival at the Dresden Semperoper . Various engagements as a soloist in Dresden, Hamburg, Barcelona and Vienna followed. He was also a member of the master class of Kammersänger Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau . Between 2005 and 2007 Maiwald was a guest at the Dresden Comedy in the play Die Hexe Baba Jaga . In addition to his journalistic work, after completing his law studies, he became involved in his legal work, especially in the areas of media and artist law.
