The fan Glacier is a glacier in Wrangell-St Elias National Park in the Chugach Mountains in southeastern Alaska .
The 34.5 km long valley glacier has its nutrient area at an altitude of about 2400 m on the northern flank of Mount Tom White . The 2.3 km wide glacier initially flows mainly in a northerly direction and finally cuts through a mountain ridge that runs in an east-west direction. It then turns west for its lowest 12 kilometers and ends at an altitude of about 500 m . The glacier tongue forms the source of the South Fork Bremner River , a left tributary of the Bremner River .
