Fanny jug

Stephanie Fanny Krug (* 1970 in East Berlin ) is a German singer . She is the second youngest daughter of the actor and singer Manfred Krug and his wife Ottilie. Together with her father she released two jazz albums.

Life

Although she already enjoyed singing with her father as a child and was seen in smaller roles in films, she went different ways professionally. She made after the departure of her family from the GDR in West Berlin trained as a speech therapist . She treated actors with voice problems at the Berlin University Hospital . Singing was just her hobby at the time. She sang in a choir and in a jazz trio .

After the birth of her daughter Philine, she began training in acting and singing at the age of 28. In order to accompany her father on his tour, she broke off the training. It had its concert premiere in May 2001 in the Steintor Varieté in Halle. Until 2003 they toured with the Manfred Krug program , live - reading and singing through Germany. The CD Manfred Krug Live with Fanny was created on this tour .

In 2003 the CD Sweet Nothings was released. It also features duets with father Manfred. After working with her father for many years, the desire arose for a solo program: "I wanted to swim free as a singer, dare to do my own thing." In 2006, she started her program for girls' chats . With her own band, she presented personal songs with her own lyrics.
