The Farewell Rock (from English farewell 'farewell' ) is an 800 m long cliff rock in the Palmer Archipelago off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located off the southwest end of Spert Island and 10 km northwest of Cape Skottsberg on the coast of Trinity Island .
The naming background is unknown. However, the name for the rock has been in use and established for over 100 years.
