Farez Brahmia (born January 24, 1990 in Saint-Louis ) is a French - Algerian football player.

Career

Brahmia played for AS Bourgfelden from 2003 and moved to the youth department of Racing Strasbourg in 2006 . He was part of the U-18 team that was eliminated in the semi-finals of the Coupe Gambardella in 2008 against the eventual winner Stade Rennes . On October 3, 2009 he made his professional debut in the Ligue 2 game against SCO Angers . He scored his first league goal on January 15, 2010 in a 4-1 win over Stade Laval . In August 2011 Brahmia left Strasbourg and signed with SR Colmar . On March 23, 2012 he moved to the Swiss club FC Langenthal on loan until the end of the season . At Langenthal he developed into a high performer and scored four goals in six games by the end of the season. On May 23, 2012 he returned to SR Colmar and played there the following season.

This was followed by further positions at FC Mulhouse , AS Lyon-Duchère and since 2018 he has been under contract with US Sarre-Union .

Brahmia's older brother Saphi (* 1984) is also active as a soccer player.
