Faro-et-Déo is a district of the Adamaua region in Cameroon .

location

The district is located in the highlands of Adamawa , which also gave the region its name. According to the 2001 census, 66,442 inhabitants live on an area of ​​10,435 km². The main town is Tignère .

The district is named after the two rivers Faro and Mao Déo , which have their headwaters there.
