The Faro in the dry season

The Faro is a river in central Africa .

course

Mouth of the Mao Déo (from the west) into the Faro (from the east) with the Faro National Park in between.

The sources of the Faro are not far from the town of Tignère in the southern highlands of Adamaua . In its upper reaches it is rich in rapids. It flows around the Faro National Park in the east and forms its northeastern border. At the northern tip of the park it joins the Mao Déo coming from the west and flows northward from there. In its lower reaches it forms the border with Nigeria until it finally flows into the Benue.

Hydrometry

The flow rate of the river was measured in m³ / s in Safaie, about 100 km above the mouth.
