The Faro de Puno is a lighthouse ( Spanish Faro ) in Peru . It stands at the port of Puno , a city in the northwest of Lake Titicaca .

19 beacons are known on Lake Titicaca, eight in the Peruvian and eleven in the Bolivian part of the lake. Of these lighthouses, the Faro de Puno is the most famous. The approximately 9 m high iron round tower stands on a stone base and the fire height is approximately 10 m.
