Farrah Moan (actually Cameron Clayton ; born September 11, 1993 in Houston , Texas ) is an American drag queen and Internet personality. In 2017 she took part in the ninth season of RuPaul's Drag Race , where she finished eighth, and in 2018 in the fourth season of the AllStars spin-off.

Early years

Clayton attended Klein High School in Houston, Texas and was bullied while there. He lived with his poor single mother. When he was 18, he ran away to Austin , where he lived with a stripper friend who was helping him start his career as a drag queen. Before starting out as a drag queen, Clayton was known as an internet personality on the social networking website Myspace under the pseudonym "Cameron Ugh".

Career

Clayton's drag name Farrah Moan is a play on pheromones and refers to the first name of actress and sex symbol Farrah Fawcett . Her greatest inspirations are RuPaul and singer Christina Aguilera , whom she often imitates in her looks. Her first big appearance was on "Austins Next Drag Superstar" where she came in second. In Austin, she was joined by drag queen Cynthia Lee Fontaine, an eighth and ninth season contestant for RuPaul's Drag Race , who helped her get booked at local venues. Before participating in RuPaul's Drag Race , she moved to Los Angeles , where she performs as a showgirl with Aguilera-inspired numbers.

Farrah Moan took part in the ninth season of RuPaul's Drag Race , which premiered on March 24th, in 2017 and was eliminated in eighth place on May 12th. In the first episode of the tenth season, RuPaul acted towards the participating drag queens as if Farrah Moan was returning to this season to reveal Christina Aguilera as a guest judge. Moan was invited by the shows' producers to meet Aguilera backstage. She returned for the fourth season of the spin-off RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars , which began on December 14, 2018, and was eliminated in ninth place in the second episode on December 21. Like all participants who had been eliminated up to then, she appeared again in the sixth episode on January 18, 2019 for a chance to re-enter the competition that she did not win. In the eleventh regular season she was seen as a guest in the first episode on February 28, 2019 with other previous participants.

In the summer of 2018, Moan and colleague Shea Couleé from the ninth season of the Drag Race promotional model for Manny MUA's makeup line . In September 2018, she and other Drag Race participants were a background dancer for Aguilera for the Spring Collection 2109 for the Opening Ceremony brand at New York Fashion Week . In March 2019, Moan was seen in the Girls Night Part 3 scene at the gay porn studio Men.com. In April and May 2019 Moan went with Chad Michaels , a RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars winner and Cher imitator, on a burlesque tour based on the film of the same name , in which Cher and Aguilera played the main roles, the two drag queens in this one Tour embodied.
