Farrington Ridge is a 2.5 km long, straight and isolated mountain ridge with a non-iced summit ridge in the West Antarctic Ellsworthland . In the Jones Mountains it rises 3 km north-northwest of the Forbidden Rocks .

The University of Minnesota team that explored the Jones Mountains from 1960 to 1961 named him. It is named after Lieutenant Robert L. Farrington (1932-2015) of the United States Navy , co-pilot of an LC 47 Dakota , with which on December 9, 1960 the first aircraft landed in the Jones Mountains.
