Armac Motor Company , previously Armac Motorcycle Company , was an American manufacturer of motor vehicles .

Company history

Archie McCullen founded the Armac Motorcycle Company in Saint Paul , Minnesota in 1903 to manufacture motorcycles . On August 15, 1905, he moved to Chicago , Illinois and changed the company name to Armac Motor Company . Automobile production began here . The brand name was Armac . In 1906 the production of cars and in 1908 the motorcycle production ended.

On offer were motorcycles, sidecars and attachments to convert motorcycles into forecars .

The only four-wheeled vehicle was an open two-seat runabout . A separate motor with 6 HP power drove the rear axle via belts.
