Marshalltown Buggy Company was an American manufacturer of vehicles .

Company history

The company was based in Marshalltown , Iowa . LM Osborne was President and Treasurer, Ray R. East Secretary, and Joseph Lempe Superintendent. Another employee was Travis Frank DeBorde. It made carriages . An advertisement dated February 8, 1906, has survived. Automobile production began in the summer of 1909. The brand name was Marshalltown . Motor vehicle production ended in the same year.

In 1911 the company was active in the accessories industry. Another advertisement from October 14, 1915 has survived. Then the track of the company is lost.
