Halsey Motor Vehicle Company was an American manufacturer of motor vehicles . One source states that the company initially operated as the Halsey Motor Company and only from 1905 as the Halsey Motor Vehicle Company .

Company history

James T. Halsey was an engineer from New York City . In 1901 he founded the company in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania . He manufactured vehicles until 1907, which he sold as Halsey .
