The company was based in Baltimore , Maryland . The production of automobiles began in 1901. The brand name was Scott . Motor vehicle production ended in 1904.

A vehicle from 1904 was designed by RB Wasson. The buyer was Harlan W. Whipple, President of the American Automobile Association . A four-cylinder engine powered the vehicle. A 152.4 mm bore and stroke each resulted in a displacement of 11,120 cm³ . The engine made 80 hp . The transmission had four gears. The chassis had a wheelbase of 320 cm . The vehicle was initially presented to the automotive press without a body. It was then given a body as an open touring car with space for seven people, manufactured by JM Quinby & Co.
