Keene Automobile Company , previously Trinity Cycle Manufacturing Company , was an American manufacturer of vehicles .

Company history

Reynold Janney had been running the Trinity Cycle Manufacturing Company in Keene , New Hampshire , from about 1887 or 1897 . In July 1900, he announced the production of automobiles, which began later in the year. The brand name was Keene Steamobile . In early 1901, the name was changed to Keene Automobile Company .

As early as February 1902, a Delaware company acquired all rights and patents, moved to Keene and was now called the Steamobile Company of America .
