Automobile Construction Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Herman C. Mueller (also spelled Hermann C. Mueller) founded the company in 1901 in Milwaukee , Wisconsin . He made automobiles. The brand name was Automobile Construction . The lack of dealers was striking. Instead, the buyer was the customer. Production ended in 1902.

Mueller was then active as a car dealer and again manufactured vehicles in his Mueller Motor Car Company between 1909 and 1910 .

There was no connection with the Automobile Construction and Engineering Company , which also manufactured Automobile Construction branded cars in 1914 .

The company manufactured vehicles according to customer requirements. The buyer was even allowed to deliver parts upon request. Every vehicle was unique. The new price was from 350 US dollars . For comparison, an Oldsmobile Curved Dash was $ 650.
