Company history

The brothers Charles D. and Frank D. Fuller and the brothers Maurice and Charles Blood founded the Michigan Automobile Company Limited on December 30, 1902 . The seat was in Kalamazoo , Michigan . Charles Fuller was Chairman, Frank Fuller Secretary and General Manager, Maurice Blood Treasurer and Charles Blood Superintendent. The Blood brothers designed a first prototype in 1903 . In the same year the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Michigan . In late 1904, the Blood brothers left the company and founded the Blood Brothers Automobile & Machinery Company .

The Fullers produced vehicles until 1907. After that, they only made parts and accessories. After a few years they changed the company name to Fuller & Sons Manufacturing Company in order to avoid confusion with the Michigan Motor Car Company, which was founded in 1911 in the same place .

It is not known when the company was dissolved.

There are no known associations with the other Michigan brand passenger car manufacturers : Michigan Automobile Company (1901), Michigan Motor Car Company (1904-1913), and Michigan Hearse & Motor Company (1916).
