Company history

Belle W. Barry, John A. Drake, and Frank W. Howser founded the company in 1898 with start-up capital of $ 2,500 . The seat was in Chicago , Illinois . The aim was the manufacture of motor vehicles ; According to the company name, they were motorcycles . For the end of 1899, John C. Hicks is named as the owner. He also manufactured automobiles during the winter of 1899/1900 . The brand name was Hicks . After 1900 the track of the company is lost.
