Company history
The company was founded in New York City on January 22, 1902 . William N. Beach was President, John L. Schultz was Superintendent, and James MacNaughton was General Manager. Schultz previously worked for Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft . They started with the production of automobiles. The brand name was German-American . Bankruptcy began in September 1902 . Bankruptcy was declared on January 21, 1903 . Overall, not many vehicles were made.
MacNaughton later ran the James MacNaughton Motor Car Company .

The only model was similar to the Daimler at the time. According to the manufacturer, it was designed for the special needs of American drivers and the requirements of American roads. The chassis was designed to be particularly strong. The vehicles had front-engined and rear-wheel drive. The four-cylinder engine developed 24 hp . One illustration shows an open runabout with space for two people.
