Country Club Car Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

HM Woodward founded the company in Boston , Massachusetts in 1903 . He started with the production of automobiles. The brand name was Country Club . Production ended in 1904. In total, only a few vehicles were built.

The only model had a two-cylinder engine that developed 16 hp . The shifting of the three-speed transmission was supported by compressed air from one of the cylinders . The chassis had a wheelbase of 220 cm . The open structure as a tonneau offered space for four people. The original price was 2500 US dollars .
