Colonial Automobile Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles from Massachusetts .

Company history

George N. March founded the company in Boston in late 1899 . He brought a model into series production that AW Kent had designed. The brand name was Kent's Pacemaker . In September 1901 the company was dissolved. Production remained low.

vehicles

The only model was a steam car . A steam engine drove the middle rear wheel. The single front wheel was steered. There were also two outer rear wheels for stability. They were about the same size as the drive wheel and could be folded in while driving. The body was an open runabout with a hood. The vehicle can be referred to as a single-track car.
