Rounds was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

George E. Rounds headed the company, based in Plymouth , Massachusetts . In 1901 he made some automobiles. The brand name was Rounds .

Steam cars were on offer . Data have been handed down for two models. One had an 8 hp steam engine . The setup was an open two-seat runabout . The other model had an engine with 15 hp. The structure offered space for four people. What they had in common was a tubular boiler and a patented device for waste heat .
