Frantz Automobile Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
Hiram Frantz was a priest . He founded the company in Cherryville , Pennsylvania in 1901 . He started with the production of automobiles. The brand name was Frantz . On May 30, 1901, an automobile magazine reported on the company. Production ended in 1902. A total of at least four vehicles were built.

Steam cars were on offer . The burner was an invention of Frantz. The engine power was transmitted to the rear axle via a chain. The open body offered space for two people. Was steered with a steering lever. The wheels were wire-spoke wheels. The original price was 700 US dollars .
The company stated that it also manufactured vehicles with gasoline engines to order. It is not known whether any of these actually came about.
