In 1895 they joined forces and founded the joint company for automobile and engine production. The brand name was Kane-Pennington .
Pennington planned to take part in the Times-Herald Contest in November 1895 with four or six vehicles . A source says they didn't make it to the starting line. Another source states that they were not among the official starters. However, there are indications that two vehicles appeared at the start location but did not take part in the race. Pennington left the company in November 1895.
The vehicles did not prove themselves. Production ended in 1896.
In total, only a few vehicles were built. One source thinks that there were only two or three pieces.
