Desberon Motor Car Company was an American manufacturer of motor vehicles .

Company history

The company was founded in New York City in 1901 . Works were located in Manhattan and New Rochelle . Between 1901 and 1904 it manufactured passenger cars and commercial vehicles. The brand name was Desberon . The vehicles were touted as extremely reliable.

The cars had gasoline engines . In Style C it was a two-cylinder engine with 7 hp . The chassis had a wheelbase of 198 cm . The only setup was an open runabout .

The Style D had a four-cylinder engine . He was specified with 12/15 hp. The wheelbase corresponded to the weaker model. The vehicles were bodied as a tonneau .

The Style E was the manufacturer's most expensive model. Its four-cylinder engine was specified with 30/36 hp. The wheelbase was 229 cm. The bodies were limited to a tonneau.
