Tivy Cycle Manufacturing Company was an American manufacturer of vehicles .

Company history

The company was based in Williamsport , Pennsylvania . In 1898 the production of bicycles began . In 1901 the prototype of an automobile was added, designed by Harry Rantz. Series production followed in 1902. The brand name was Tivy . In 1903 the production of all vehicles ended.

A reorganization resulted in the L. Maxwell Company .

Motor vehicles

Only steam cars were on offer . The body shape was an open runabout . Was steered with a steering lever. The original price was 800 US dollars .
