Marsh Motor Carriage Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The brothers Alonzo R. and William T. Marsh made their first steam car in 1899 . The younger brothers Clifton and George R. helped with this. Then they founded two separate production companies. The other was called the Atlantic Automobile Manufacturing Company . The seat was in Brockton , Massachusetts . They made about three other passenger cars that they sold to local customers. The brand name was Marsh . Production ended around 1901.
The American Motor Company , in which the brothers mainly manufactured motorcycles and, in 1905, some passenger cars, was more durable.
Some of the Marsh brothers have also been involved in the Eastern Motor Company , the Marsh Motors Company , the Sterling Motor Car Company, and the Vulcan Manufacturing Company .
