Manistee Motor Car Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The brothers Henry and Otto Brugman acted in their business in Manistee in Michigan with jewels , guns and bicycles . In 1899 the development of an automobile began, which was finished in 1902. Then they founded the company for automobile production. They made a few more vehicles for local buyers. The brand name was Manistee . Production ended in the same year.

There is evidence that the American Garage & Motor Company was involved in the production of some vehicles.
