Wilson Automobile Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in 1903 in Wilson , New York , United States . In the same year the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Niagara . Production ended in 1905. The La Salle-Niagara Automobile Company took over everything in the spring of 1905.

Other US manufacturers of passenger cars of the brand Niagara were Niagara Automobile Company (1901) , Niagara Motor Vehicle Company , Niagara Motors Manufacturing Company and Niagara Automobile Company (1915) .

All vehicles had a single cylinder engine . It was mounted under the seat and drove the rear axle. From 1904 to 1904 it made 5 hp . The setup was a runabout . It usually offered two seats. The front of the vehicle could be unfolded so that there were two more seats at the front.

In 1905 the engine output was increased to 8 hp. The chassis had a wheelbase of 198 cm .
