Motor Chair Sales and Operation Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in 1915 in Chicago , Illinois . In the same year the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Motor Chair . The vehicles were presented and introduced on the occasion of the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in Chicago in 1915. It was launched in 1916, when production ended.

Electric cars were on offer . As the brand name suggests, they were motor chairs. However, they had a body made of metal or wood and in this way differed from a motorized hospital elevator . The tires were solid rubber tires . One illustration shows a tricycle with a single front wheel and a bench seat for two people next to each other.
