Northwestern Motorcycle Works was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Chicago , Illinois company manufactured a few automobiles in 1914. The brand name was Logan . It is not known whether the company also manufactured motorcycles , and whether it existed before 1914 or after 1914.

There was no association with the Logan Construction Company , which used the same brand name a few years earlier.

The only car model is called a cycle car. However, it did not meet the criteria. It had an air-cooled V2 engine from Spacke . 88.9 mm bore and 93.218 mm stroke resulted in a displacement of 1157 cc . The engine was specified with 9/13 hp and made 9 hp . The engine power was transmitted to the rear axle via a friction gear and belt.

The chassis had a wheelbase of 259 cm and a track width of 102 cm . The structure was an open roadster with space for two people side by side. The vehicle weighed about 227 kg. The original price was 375 US dollars .
