Hawk Cyclecar (1914)

The Hawk Cyclecar Company was an American automobile manufacturer founded in Detroit in 1914 by Frank S. Salter , Duane Tibbets and WW McIntyre . The only model range was a small car built in 1914.

description

The Hawk had a V2 engine with 9/13 hp. 88.9 mm bore and 93.218 mm stroke resulted in a displacement of 1157 cc . This means that an essential criterion for classification as a cycle car has not been met. The motor drove the rear axle via belts. The car was on sale for $ 390 and could seat two people side by side. The line of the bonnet sloping towards the front and the line of the rear sloping towards the rear were typical.
