Watt Motor Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The brothers Frank J. and George H. Watt founded the company in December 1909. The company was based in Detroit , Michigan . James E. Delaney became president. In 1910 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Watt . Bankruptcy followed in May 1910 . A total of two vehicles were built.

The vehicles had a six-cylinder engine that was specified with 45 hp . The long bonnet was striking . The chassis had a wheelbase of 335 cm . Were planned runabout , touring cars and light vans . In fact, only four-seat touring cars were built. The original price was 1850 US dollars .
