vehicles

Watrous made particularly cheap vehicles and hoped that this would generate good sales. The vehicles did not prove themselves. Disparaging remarks were waterless, gearless, powerless watrous or waterless, gearless, powerless, useless watrous, i.e. waterless, gearless, powerless, useless.

The vehicles had a two-cylinder engine with air cooling . It made 12 hp . It drove the rear axle via a friction gear . The chassis had a wheelbase of 203 cm or 216 cm, depending on the model . The Model C was shorter and bodied as a runabout with two seats. The longer Model B is referred to in one source as the Detachable Tonneau and in another source as a five-seat touring car . New prices were $ 400 and $ 500, respectively. The solid rubber tires , which at that time were only found on highwheelers, were completely out of date .
