Burrows Cyclecar Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Watson and Robert P. Burrows founded the company in Ripley , New York , in 1914 . They manufactured automobiles until 1915. The brand name was Burrows .

There were two models on offer. They are referred to as a cycle car, although they do not meet the criteria. The two-cylinder engine came from Mack and was air-cooled . It had 85.7 mm bore , 99.2 mm stroke , 1145 cm³ displacement and 9 hp . It drove the rear axle via a friction gear and belt. The wheelbase was noticeably long at 269 cm. The curb weight was given as 325 kg.

The 1914 model had two seats in a row. The Model M followed in 1915 as a roadster with two seats next to each other.
