Darling Motors Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

George W. Dillman, MM Dugan, JD Frock, and others founded the company in Dayton , Ohio in late 1916 . The designer was James Guthrie. They started producing automobiles in 1917. The brand name was Darlling . Production ended in the same year.

There was no connection with Beardsley & Hubbs Manufacturing Company , which some years earlier also manufactured Darling vehicles.

The only model was the Six . He had a six-cylinder engine from the Continental Motors Company of the type Continental 7 N with 4964 cm³ displacement . The chassis had a wheelbase of 330 cm . The open touring car offered space for five people. The original price was 1,600 US dollars .
