Company history

The company was founded in 1909 in Cincinnati , Ohio . AH Miller and Joseph Kroeger ran it. In the same year the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Powercar . Production ended in 1911.

In May 1912, the Cincinnati Motors Manufacturing Company took over the plant.

All vehicles had a four-cylinder engine . 101.6 mm bore and 114.3 mm stroke resulted in 3707 cc displacement . The engine output of 30 hp was transmitted to the rear axle via a three-speed gearbox and a cardan shaft .

In 1909 the chassis had a 274 cm wheelbase . The only structure was an open touring car with five seats.

In 1910, sportier bodies were added with a two-seater roadster and a four-seater Tourabout .

In 1911 the wheelbase was lengthened to 292 cm. In addition to the five-seat touring car, there was now a two-seat torpedo roadster.
