Hay-Berg Motor Car Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in 1907 in Milwaukee , Wisconsin . One of the two owners was a Mr. Sternberg. In the same year the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Hay-Berg . Production ended in 1908.

The only model was the 20 HP . Many parts were bought in. So the engine came from the Carrico Motor Company . It was an air-cooled four-cylinder engine with an output of 20 hp . The transmission came from Brown-Lipe . The AO Smith Corporation supplied the chassis with 254 cm wheelbase . The axles came from the Timken Company . The only superstructure offered was a three-seat roadster .

A seven-seat touring car with a 40 hp engine was announced, but was no longer manufactured.
