FS Motors Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

In Wisconsin , there was a well-respected steam engine factory called Corliss . The characters Filer and Stowell are named. In 1911 they founded a separate vehicle manufacturing company in Milwaukee , Wisconsin. To do this, they bought the automobile manufacturer Petrel Motor Car Company and the engine manufacturer Beaver Manufacturing Company and moved everything from their plants to their own plant. So began the production of passenger cars and trucks . The brand name was FS , also in the spelling FS 1912, production ended.

The weakest vehicle had an engine with 12 hp . The wheelbase was 229 cm. Construction was a delivery truck .

One runabout had a 22 hp engine and 249 cm wheelbase and a larger runabout had a 30 hp engine and 292 cm wheelbase.

The most powerful model had an engine with 40 hp. The wheelbase was 300 cm. These vehicles were bodied as a torpedo .
