Fred Kohlmeyer & Sons was an American manufacturer of motor vehicles .

Company history

Fred Kohlmeyer founded the company in Loganville , Wisconsin in 1916 . He manufactured some passenger cars until 1920 . In addition, trucks were built from 1920 at the latest . The brand name was Klondike . In 1929 the company was dissolved.

One source says there were six or eight cars, while another source says eight. In addition, around 25 trucks have been delivered.

The cars had a six-cylinder engine from the Wisconsin Motor Manufacturing Company . It made 65 hp . Most of the bodies were touring cars with seven seats. A four-door sedan was also built . All vehicles were black.
