Motor Sales & Service Corporation was an American manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
Hilton W. Sofield had previous automotive experience with Keystone Truck Company . He founded the company in 1920. The headquarters were in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania . The plant, however, was located in Riverton , New Jersey . The market launch took place in August 1920. The brand name was Hilton .
Sofield then founded the Pennsylvania Motors Corporation to develop commercial vehicles . A brand name had not yet been determined.
In June 1921 a fire destroyed the plant. That was the end for both companies.

Only one model was on offer. It had a four-cylinder engine of Herschell-Spillman . He was specified with 19.6 hp . The chassis had a wheelbase of 290 cm . The structure was a closed coupe . The notchback was striking . There was space for three people on the front bench. The wheels were wire spoke wheels. The spare wheel was perpendicular to the rear.
